Who I am
I'm Surendar Selvaraj, a senior product designer, UI designer, and UX designerbased in New Jersey, USA. For close to two decades I've designed enterprise products across financial intelligence, news, healthcare, and logistics, partnering closely with engineering so the work ships accurately and at scale.
What I care about most is making complexity feel simple: clear workflows, accessible by default, and systems that keep dozens of teams consistent. Whether the title says product designer, UI/UX designer, or UX architect, the work is the same, reduce friction, ship something that actually works.

- Product design, strategy, information architecture, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI from zero to handoff
- UI design, visual design, component libraries, tokens, and responsive layouts that translate cleanly into code
- UX design, user research synthesis, usability testing, interaction patterns, and experience architecture
- Design systems, token-driven component libraries, governance models, and multi-team adoption programs
- Accessibility, WCAG compliance, inclusive design patterns, and accessibility embedded at the system level
- AI product design, trust-first interaction models for AI-assisted enterprise workflows

19+ years. 200+ projects. Companies include Dow Jones(WSJ, Factiva, Barron's, Risk Journal), DHL, and others across financial services, healthcare, and logistics.
I've worked as a product designer, UI/UX designer, UX architect, lead designer, and design system practitioner, often wearing several of these hats on the same team.
